DEAR EDITOR:

Please lend me space on your news portal to ventilate my great displeasure on the matter involving the disappearance and reappearance of teenage girls- Especially since it has been suggested they are being exploited in a sex ring. CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATSAPP GROUP FOR NEWS UPDATES.

No parent in their right mind would appreciate their little girls being defiled – And if it does happen they would want to push for action to be taken against  the guilty party.

Why is this evil allowed again and again in 108 Square miles Antigua- Why have the political leaders not sprung into action- why are church leaders deafeningly  silent on the matter?

The only  concerned voice seems to be that of Miss Mary John; who  has been working overtime on this troubling matter- She deserves to be applauded for her efforts.

I would hope the police are about to act on information she has provided. If not, they should never haul another young man before the courts for having carnal knowledge of his underaged girlfriend.

Finally, Mr. Editor, Sir Emond Burke once said the only thing necessary for evil to thrive is for good men to sit back and do nothing.

Am I to reason there are no good men in Antigua and Barbuda since the ring of evil continues to thrive?

Extremely concerned

One response to “LETTER: Are sex ring players being protected?”

  1. Are Sex Ring Players Being Protected?
A very interesting and broad question, but nonetheless very relevant to the sex industry that have been allowed to flourish in Antigua.

Antigua has a long history of operating brothels, some were frequent by former Prime ministers.

Former Prime Minsters and most notably Antigua’s first Prime Minster changed the law to accommodate his sexual appetite for sexual pleasures with a fourteen year minor.

He abandoned his marital home and set up home with his fourteen year old mistress. it could be said his actions paved the way for legalised sex with minors though the age of consensual sex has increased to 16, but nonetheless the precedent has been set.

The immoral actions staged by the first PM is an indication that our law makers are sexual predators with fetishism. The nation including churches did not protest against the heinous actions back then, therefore, it should be no surprises that this administration is not actively doing much to clamp down on “sex Rings” when it was this same party that originally legalised the grotesque practices. It is this same party that allowed whore houses to flourish and for those brothels to employ overseas sex workers. This current PM predecessor was a frequent visitor to Skells before the establishment was mysteriously set ablaze.

A prominent MP frequently has sex parties at his home involving young men and young women. What has the police done about this affluent gentleman with fetishism…nothing.

it’s very probably that evil scum bag of our society is not alone, paedophile very rarely act as lone wolves.

I witnessed an unmarked dark blue armed force bus with six soldiers pulled in front of a gap where a Jamacian woman who offered sex for money, the woman came out of her rental property with an overnight bag stepped into the bus and headed East from Claire Hall…destination unknown.

Homosexuality and heterosexuality sexual acts with minors and vulnerable young people is an interdenominational practices that has a long history. In addition schools are no exception. Three years ago I heard a fourteen year boy alleged that he had anus sex with an African male teacher at Jennings school.

If A PHD student was to carry out an anonymous survey based on under age sexual encounters the outcomes would be revealing.

The research Practioner could follow quantitative and quantitative research methods combined, as both would yield rich outcomes that would expose sex syndicates that would force the law makers to take action equal to international standards for protecting minors.
