Josh Lucien, aged 26, admitted guilt for having 11 rounds of 9mm ammunition and a Ruger SR9c 9mm pistol without a proper license.
The charges arose when officers from the Criminal Investigations Department discovered the concealed items during a search of Lucien’s vehicle in the Ottos area.
Lucien, previously imprisoned for aggravated robbery, explained he found the weapon while cleaning a gutter near an abandoned house.
Despite a plea for leniency due to impending fatherhood, Magistrate Dexter Wason imposed the $30K fine – $20,000 for the firearm and $10,000 for the ammunition.

One response to “$30K fine for man with unlicensed firearm and ammunition”
Increasingly I see females advancing past males in Antigua without engaging in criminality and purchasing firearms/weapons to enhance their self-worth. Antigua is advancing economically but, many young Blackmales are doing just the opposite and some how believe guns (imitating their American counterparts) but providing little to nothng for their community.
